Any time you build things or work with tools or scientific or mechanical apparatus you risk injury. ALWAYS plan before you act, and ALWAYS take proper safety precautions.

Always wear safety glasses or other protective equipment when it is appropriate to do so. When in doubt, PROTECT!

Always work in a clean and well lit environment without distractions. Take your time, do not rush.

Always treat electricity with respect. Never work "live" on any electrical equipment that exposes mains power.

Students should never work without responsible adult supervision.

Do not EVER build projects that could in any way threaten or endanger yourself or the life of any other person or creature. Remember that even the best equipment or projects will fail in unexpected ways at unexpected times.
